Who I am: Mandy Wilkinson, School Business Manager Why I wanted to be a Champ: As a School Business Manager at Corley Academy, I am dedicated to supporting our staff through various stages of their professional journey, including induction, return-to-work interviews, and sickness management meetings. My role as a mental health champion is a vital part of this process, as I strive to apply the knowledge gained from mental health training to help our staff maintain their mental well-being.
I firmly believe that open discussions and active listening are key to understanding the challenges our staff face. By fostering an environment where everyone feels heard and supported, we can collectively promote well-being and create a positive school culture. My goal is to ensure that every staff member at Corley Academy feels valued and equipped to maintain good mental health, ultimately benefiting our entire school community.
