High interest-Lower reading level (Rapid Reads)
These texts are specifically aimed at students who read at a lower level than their chronological age.
Please email Nick Binns n.binns@corley.thrive.ac if you would like to know your child’s reading age.
Alongside these books, there are also Fresh Start readers available for those students who are engaged in this intervention- please contact Kate Foxon (k.foxon@corley.thrive.ac) who can map these to your child’s current Fresh Start module.

The texts on the attachment below are a sample- the publishers in the table have numerous other titles which are all explicitly mapped to reading age and come highly recommended. Where a publisher links the reading age to Book Bands or Phonics levels, we are happy to advise on the equivalent reading age if this is not clear.
